Call for Proposals

Present at TPA's 2026 Annual Conference

TPA invites submissions for presentations at the 2026 Annual Conference, taking place November 12-14 in Austin, Texas. We welcome proposals that reflect the range of work happening across psychology and contribute to the broader conversation shaping the profession in Texas.

Please note, this year TPA is including a track specifically dedicated to presenting original research. If you are interested in presenting an 8-10 minute presentation of your research, please select the track named "Professional Research Presentation." Proposals for both individual presentations, 8-10 minutes each, and symposia, 3-4 speakers with 10-15 minutes each, will be considered.

Proposal Criteria

  • At least one presenter must hold a doctoral-level degree in psychology or another related field.
  • The proposal form must be completed fully and accurately.
  • All presenters, including co-presenters, are expected to pay their own conference registration fees.
  • Students who have not completed their PhD are welcome to submit a proposal, but if selected, they must present with a mentor or sponsor.

Research Presentation Track

TPA is offering a track specifically dedicated to original research presentations. Select "Professional Research Presentation" on the proposal form if you would like your research submission to be considered for this track.

Both individual presentations and symposia will be reviewed for consideration.
