Lead the Future: The TPA Student Senate

The TPA Student Senate is your gateway to leadership within the Association. As a governing body for the Student Division, the Senate empowers psychology students to shape the direction of student involvement at TPA and beyond.

What You’ll Do as a Student Senator:

  • Collaborate with peers from universities across Texas
  • Draft bylaws and pass resolutions
  • Lead advocacy initiatives
  • Develop programming for TPA's Annual Convention
  • Serve as a voice for the next generation of psychologists

What It Involves:

  • A two-year term (can include graduating students)
  • Monthly one-hour Zoom calls (flexible during convention and legislative sessions)
  • Opportunities to develop leadership, legislative, and networking experience
