Registration is open for the TPA 2026 Annual Conference, November 12–14 in Austin. Join psychologists, students, educators, researchers, and professionals from across Texas for CE credits, professional learning, advocacy, connection, and community.
This year's theme, Cultivating Psychology Through Advocacy, Connection & Community, reflects the heart of the conference experience: strengthening your knowledge, building meaningful relationships, and engaging with the issues shaping the future of psychology in Texas.

Postdoctoral Fellowship Collaborative Registration Is Open
Registration is now open for TPA's 2026–2027 Postdoctoral Fellowship Collaborative, a statewide program connecting postdoctoral fellows and training directors through monthly virtual lectures, networking opportunities, and professional development. The Collaborative helps training programs share didactic teaching, support APA and APPIC standards, and build a stronger peer network for fellows entering the field. Registration is open through September 1.

Student Research and Award Opportunities Deadlines Approaching
The Texas Psychological Foundation is offering two opportunities to recognize and support psychology students in Texas.
- The TPF Research Competition invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit abstracts for completed research projects and, if selected, present their work on November 14 during the 2026 TPA Annual Conference.
- The TPF Student Awards support exceptional student research and academic achievement through award opportunities designed to fund innovative research, recognize original work, and encourage professional growth.
Both opportunities are open to eligible psychology students in Texas, and recipients or selected participants will be recognized during the TPA Annual Conference in Austin, November 12–14. Submissions are due September 11, 2026.

August Webinar: Preventing Ethical Drift in Digital Practice
Join TPA for the August webinar, Preventing Ethical Drift in Digital Practice, presented by Kari Leavell, PhD, for a timely look at the ethical considerations that can arise as psychologists navigate telehealth, digital communication, documentation, boundaries, and technology-supported care. This session will help psychologists reflect on common risks in digital practice and identify practical ways to maintain ethical standards in an evolving professional landscape.
