Elevating Psychology Through Evidence-Informed Strategies for Underserved Communities
Presented by Todd Jenkins, PhD, and Isha W. Metzger, PhD, LCP
Live participation will fulfill 1.5 of the 3 state-required hours in Cultural Diversity.

Despite the availability of evidence-based approaches, significant gaps remain in access, engagement, and effectiveness for underserved populations, including individuals impacted by socioeconomic barriers, geographic limitations, systemic inequities, and other forms of marginalization. This webinar will highlight how integrating culturally responsive, evidence-informed strategies and inclusive language can strengthen psychological practice and advance equity across diverse settings in the field of psychology.
Participants will leave with actionable strategies and resources to enhance engagement, improve outcomes, and integrate equity-focused approaches into their work across settings. This session is designed for psychologists, researchers, educators, and organizational leaders committed to utilizing culturally responsive approaches to reduce disparities in mental health and well-being.
